The Laundry Summit-Detroit: Education First Event for Laundromat Investors
Laundrylux, North America’s leading distributor of commercial laundry equipment and parent company of the Wascomat and Electrolux Professional brands, announced The Laundry Summit – Detroit, coming to the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
The Detroit event is hosted in partnership with WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems and will run from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM at 400 Renaissance Drive West, with sweeping riverfront views from one of Detroit’s most iconic venues.
The Detroit stop continues a national series that has drawn hundreds of laundromat owners, investors, and operators across cities including Vancouver, Columbus, Little Rock, St. Louis, and Miami, with additional summits scheduled throughout 2026.
An Education-First Day — Not Another Trade Show
The Laundry Summit is built for laundromat investors, operators, and anyone serious about the business of self-service laundry. The Detroit program is designed to give attendees real insight into what’s working right now in the industry — from store performance and operational efficiency to financing, marketing, and the technology shaping the next generation of laundromats.
The partnership with WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems — one of North America’s largest providers of laundry solutions to the multifamily and commercial sectors — brings additional depth to the day’s programming, with industry leadership from both organizations on the agenda.
What attendees can expect:
- Expert-led sessions covering store economics, growth strategy, and operational best practices.
- Panel discussions with successful operators sharing what’s actually moving the needle in their stores.
- Live equipment demonstrations featuring the latest commercial laundry technology.
- Peer networking with investors, multi-store operators, and industry leaders from across the Midwest.
- Q&A time with the people building, financing, and running modern laundromats. Lunch and refreshments are included.
