2021 was indeed a banner year for Star Distributing. At the 2022 Clean Show Exposition held in Atlanta, Georgia (the largest exposition in North America for laundering, dry cleaning, textile care services, supplies, and equipment), the company clinched not one, but two prestigious awards.
Michael Davis, the dynamic President and CEO of Star Distributing, gleamed with pride as the company received the Speed Queen’s Distributor of the Year award. Not stopping there, they also bagged the Speed Queen Finance Partner of the Year award. “We won the biggest award which is Distributor of the Year for Speed Queen, which is a very prestigious award,” said Davis.
Innovation and Expansion
The 1990s was a period of growth and expansion for Star Distributing. In 1995, the addition of Michael Davis’ Nashville office heralded a new era, widening the company’s territory for distribution business. And soon after, in a bid to further diversify and cater to the evolving needs of the industry, Davis launched PartsKing.com, the dedicated parts division of Star Distributing.
