Curtis Equipment Company was founded in 1957 by Richard Curtis. Richard was a pioneer in the coin laundry industry. He designed and installed Wash King laundromats across the entire state of Michigan. As the business grew a second generation of family joined the team. Richard’s son John and son-in-law Kevin started learning the business in the early 1970’s. After many years of designing, installing and running numerous laundromats and commercial laundry applications John and Kevin became partners and took the reins from Richard.
Curtis Equipment Company has always been family owned and operated and that continues today with a third generation of family ownership. John’s sons Andy and Chris have been actively involved in Curtis Equipment Company for over 20 years. Andy and Chris joined John as partners in 2018. The newest generation has brought increased focus on helping laundry owners leverage new technology to make smart business decisions.
Since the beginning, their commitment has been to be your expert, providing you with tailored solutions to meet your business expectations.
